Did your March come in like a lion or a lamb? Our March arrived promptly on the 1st like a beautiful snowy lion, shaking off its mane and raining down enormous snowflakes the size of dimes and quarters, which fell straight down out of the sky, blanketing the ground for a few hours.
Our apologies for not doing a Saturday blog entry. We traveled to Ohio (brrrrrrrr) to visit our awesome families last week. When we returned from the snowy Buckeye state, guess what welcomed us back to the Inn on Mill Creek:
Biltmore is all about Romance in February. Visitors will get a taste of the Vanderbilt family’s century-long tradition of romance, including storytelling in the Library Den from 10am to 1pm, assorted displays of roses throughout the house, fireplaces aglow in the Tapestry Gallery, Library and Library Den, and Banquet Hall (this is a HUGE fireplace and looks absolutely stunning with a fire burning), not to mention interpretive signage about romantic Vanderbilt and Biltmore stories.
