Western North Carolina Open Studios 2016 Art Event
It has been a while since our immediate area had a substantial open studio tour of artists’ studios, and 2016 is the year we say hooray, open studio tours are back! WNC Open Studios allows the opportunity to tour 30(!) studios in three different western North Carolina counties during the first two weeks in October.

Our August 2016 bird in the 12 Months of Birding series here on the Inn on Mill Creek blog is a terrific warbler, the Common Yellowthroat. This bright and cheery songbird arrives in springtime to the mountains of western North Carolina and remains in our neck of the woods throughout the summer months.
