April is a great time to visit Biltmore Estate in Asheville if you love flowering trees and shrubs. As promised to our Facebook fans, here are some photos we took on April 12, just before the 80,000 tulips stole the show…enjoy!
We’re sharing the following photos below as a “before” and “after” — the first photo was taken in November, when the workers at Biltmore were planting the tulips along the Walled Garden, and the second photo is of the same spot this month. Beautiful!
A lot of our guests visit Biltmore in springtime — the Inn on Mill Creek is located 20 minutes from the entrance to Biltmore Estate. And tickets purchased here at the Inn are $49/person, good for any day plus the following day for free. So you can enjoy all the beautiful blooms at a great price. Plus, with a 175,000-square-foot gorgeous mansion to tour and 8,000 acres of grounds and gardens to see, it’s nice to go at your own pace, don’t you think?
